Practical Life
Practical Life is the study of self-help skills and focuses on the four major areas, Care of Self, Care of Environment, Grace and Courtesy, and Movement.
Sensorial
Sensorial uses a multi-sensory approach to education. Children are encouraged to learn by processing information gathered through the senses.
Math
Math continues the cognitive math development that began in the Practical Life Skills and Sensorial curriculum, taking an acute focus and more abstract thinking process with concrete materials.

The Essentials
Our Story
Carver Preschool was born from a vision more than 15 years in the making. From the earliest days of New Life Church, Pastor Will Marotti and his wife, Ann, carried a deep desire and passion to establish a Christian school. As the church continued to grow and expand its outreach, that vision only grew stronger.
In 2005, the school was officially adopted as part of New Life Church’s 20-Year Ministry Plan. One year later, in 2006, Carver Preschool opened its doors. The same passion, excellence, and commitment that define New Life Church were poured into the creation of our preschool. Today, Carver Preschool is an academically focused program that warmly welcomes and celebrates each child as a unique individual.
Our name honors George Washington Carver, the renowned agricultural scientist, inventor, and man of faith. His life and legacy reflect perseverance, innovation, and a belief in the power of education. Born into humble beginnings, Carver was inspired by his Christian upbringing and his mother’s encouragement to pursue knowledge and purpose—values we strive to instill in every child we serve.
In 2017, we were blessed to move into our beautiful facility located on North Turnpike Road in Wallingford, allowing us to continue growing and serving families in our community.
